So I got the worst possible review on Diaspora, someone went on and tore the story to pieces for historical inaccuracy D:

BUT instead of bursting into tears, hiding under under my bed or writing a flame back, or abandoning the fic in the face of such horror (Historian. Being called historically incorrect is like being called a child molestor, only worse because the accusations were true) I decided it was time to be grown up about these things and demand the reviewer put her money where her mouth is.

I now have a brilliant beta reader ;D

Diaspora has been re-written and is only awaiting beta approval to be reposted, with a new chapter.

(if you're reading this, you have been fantastic and it's my fault I have a brittle ego)

Ooh! Don't get me started on historical innacuracies in fiction! It's why I rarely read it (and wouldn't dream of writing it).

Always happy to beta for you if its any help! :o)

But hooray for triumph from disaster and a great beta - they are worth their weight in gold.
