First and formost, happy new year to you all!
Here's a fic meme for this year, to be fair, I'm including stories I haven't published, as well as individual chapters.
Favorite story this year: *sheepish* I have to say, Past Tense. It's my as-yet unpublished X-fic and I love it to death.
My best story this year: Again, I think this goes to Past Tense. As soon as it's beta-read, I'll post it here.
Most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: Nocturnale chapter five. I include myself in the unappreciators, it was the hardest but I'm still not satisfied with it, despite knowing that it's among the scariest things I've ever written.
Most fun story: Crepuscule chapter nineteen, it was great fun because I had the entire scene set out in my mind, and I think I got out pretty well. I especially enjoyed writing Verminaad's death scene.
Sexiest story: An unpublished Raistlin/Dalamar scene, set either in the far future or earlier in Ice and Steel (Ice and Steel is becoming a dumping ground of random scenes that don't fit anywhere else).
"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: I don't even want to admit writing this, but a Raistlin/Caramon rape fic. And it's staying unpublished, thank you.
Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: Nocturnale, chapter six. It was at that moment that I realised that the story line I'd worked out would simply no longer work, and managed to get another one.
Hardest story to do: Nocturnale chapter five. It was (pun intended but nevertheless fitting) a nightmare.
Biggest disappointment: Nocturnale chapter fourteen. I should have known better than to give Fistandantilus that extra screentime.
Biggest surprise: Nocturnale chapter six, and the new twist.
Most telling story: I'm not sure what this means, but I'll put in Past Tense for showing that I can work with radically new characters, a completely new setting (and all the revision that entails) and using a newly invented writing style, and still manage to scratch out something good.
A story I want remembered: Past Tense, definetly.
