Leave a list of fictional characters in your journal that you would love to get a message from. It is people's mission, should they choose to accept it, to write you an in-character "letter" from a character on that list. Then they post their own list in their journal, if they want to, and the process continues! (Feel free to post anonymously too.)

Well, here goes (and you well know I never write anyone.

Dear Skull Bearer

You seem to have this fascination with evil and those who have fallen over to it. Ordinarily, I would say it is an unhealthy fascination but I am hardly one to talk when it comes to that. Now, while I don't see myself sleeping with my former apprentice, I must admit that if I did, I would have likely done so as you have described it. But, however, I am not looking for anyone. Ever.

Now, that being said, you are a very gifted bard... er... writer. Had you been born on Krynn you'd be famous by now, and likely very well off. I have no idea if you are rich, or well off, here on Earth. I don't need to know either.

I am writing you because I was told by a mutual aqquaintance that you would be thrilled by a letter from me. If I had any way of contacting my former life on Krynn, I would make sure that Dalamar would send you a letter as well, alas, I haven't figured out a way to contact Krynn yet and as time goes on I'm not exactly sure if I want to. I will admit I miss my magic, but there is magick of sorts on Earth if one knows how to touch it. So now I have magick, technology... a surprisely popularity among the population... and money. I have no need to go back.

And tell Fistandantilus that I have my magick and have used it already. So there!

Hmm, I'm wondering if the reason you were kicked off Krynn was because my characters displaced you. It's a thought.

Will you make Raistlin have an affair with Crysania? (Poor guy, must be terribly drunk!) Or maybe with Raistlin /and/ Dalamar? *shudders at mental image of two drunk mages and a cleric (screaming "Lights out!" all the way through)* No, that's much too good for her! Let her have an affair with Caramon, who dies from guilt afterwards / is killed by Tika with a frying pan...
