One for my Best Tracks Ever list

I rather worried a friend of mine when, talking about Led Zeppelin, I said there was only one of their songs I considered worth listening to.

He didn't say anything, but he might as well have said 'If you're about to say Stairway to Heaven, I may have to stop being friends with you'.

He was a bit befuddled and relieved when I laughed and said 'Kashmir'.

Seriously, to me Led Zeppelin is the perfect example of the proverbial monkeys with keyboards (or musical instruments), whole lot of random noise, one amazing bit of Shakespeare.

Anyway, putting together a playlist of my best music ever.

My own favorite Led Zeppelin song is "Fool in the Rain."

It's not Great Art, I'll grant you, but it's cute.

And I love whatever it is they do that makes the rhythm do whatever it is that it's doing.
