I have this little scene I'm planning to write for Ice and Steel. Dalamar gives Raistlin a bunch of flowers, and Raistlin is all o_O because really, flowers? Then he recognises the roses, and then the others, and realises that they're all components for his spells. Incredibly happy Raistlin.
*squees* I've been waiting for a scene like that. (It's so very obvious.) Men are so much more practical with gifts (usually -if they haven't watched too many cheesy films or read dating aid books *g*), because where's the sense in flowers? Potted plants, ok, but flowers?
