And it would have to be...

X-men 3, the Last Stand.

This is not because I in any way liked the movie. I didn't. It was dreadful, the script was all over the place and not only did they completely blackwash Magneto in a way that wasn't exactly interesting, but then depowered him. And killed Charles Xavier... only to bring him back. Plus, Wolverine was such a Gary-stu that it put me off the character for life.

The reason I chose it was because of all the movies I watched last year, this had the most profound impact. In other words, It's all their fault! *waves rabid Dragonlance fangirls away from her*

Sorry about the delay there people, but now I've got a laptop, I'll be able to write more often.

(more of less rabid) DL fangirls: *plot how best to get Skull Bearer off X-Men*

I'm sorry, but trust me, it's hopeless. On the other hand, it's a nice shiny fandom with some really cool characters and possibilities. Can't beat 'em, join 'em, as they say, and I'd be glad for the company.

I'll have my X-fic posted soon, I promise. My poor beta-reader's struggling under fifty thousand words so it migth take her a while.

It's shiny, that's true, but it's also very complicated. I have only seen the movies and read some fanfic (Penknife's -she's a wonderful writer, I read most of her things- and hopefully soon yours), so I don't think I'd see through it enough to write anything, but I'll join for the reading.
*doesn't give up hope for more Raistlin/Dalamar action anyway*

Yeah, my motivation is that I've become a massive Magneto fangirl, so it's hardly a chore to read more of him.

What did you think of X3 by the way?

It didn't upset me as it obviously did everybody else (*hides*), because I never was into comic canon and therefore didn't have much of an idea what was wrong with it. I also watched the movies purely for entertainment, not with a particular shipping/fangirling background. I liked the first two movies slightly better, though.

X-men 3 is still in the Netflix queue . . . But it is there! (Along with 47 other movies . . . ) *coughs.* *ROFLMAO!*

Just saw Little Miss Sunshine which was quirky, funny, depressing and disturbing all at the same time. (Which of course is naturally why I loved it!) ;^D
