What a wonderful day.

It started yesterday when I saw that "The Pit and the Pendulum" was showing on Channel 5, as an fan of Edgar Allen Poe and as my favourite story was the 'Pit and the Pendulum'. I was very happy. It was a great film.

Then my father found all these really old music cassettes he's been playing in the car since I was really tiny, in other words the music I grew up with. We'd thought they'd been lost for ages. Seeing as he didn't listen to them any more, he gave them to me. Even the songs I'm not crazy about bring back the greatest memories; going to Sonning, France, and the songs I do like are even better seeing that for the first time I can understand what the lyrics actually are.

I'm not sure what most of the songs are called, they are all a lot of singles my father put down on tape before I was even born when he and my mother went on holiday.

Things took a downturn during the night when I got really cold, but I found an extra blanket. Then followed the best night's sleep I've had in many days.

The next day, I went shopping and bought myself a whole new wardrobe, the whole 'teenage reject' look was really not working for me any more and I want to wear something other than black. Now I have a nice set in pastel shades of blue, green and white. Lovely.

Plus, it's a lovely day, I'm sitting here with my hi-fi system blasting out "Running with the Pack" and I still have another two tapes to listen to.

Oh yeah, and now I know how to use Messenger, so I'll just need to download it.

Plus after Chetwynd's E-mail I've decided to drop 'Masters of the Dark' and follow the bunnies onto 'Chronicles'. Hopefully I'll be able to think up a decent title while writing the first chapter.

And I'm going to see Paul (I man I rather fancy, he's older than me, but hey) tomorrow, and see Batman Returns.

And mum went shopping yesterday so the fridge's full of edibles.

And I got loads of books and a beautiful picture of a fantasy landscape while getting new clothes.

I'll be seeing Olga on Tuesday to make plans about next Saturday when I'll be getting kitted out in my Death Eater gear and scaring the kiddies senseless at the HP opening.

I'll get working on Chronicles this evening.

You wouldn't believe that the bombing was only a few days ago. I feel so great.
