To tell you the truth, while I am a massive PR fan it took me ages to get someone to watch my girls so my partner and I could go, so I actually have only just seen it. And… I’m not really sure how to answer your question yet.
On the one hand, I tip my hat to all the actors/actresses, they did a phenomenal job with the material they were given to work with. Burn Gorman and Charlie Day, in particular, were both on fire in this.
That being said? I had a lot of qualms with Uprising and walked away more than a little bitter and disappointed with the way they handled it. At the moment I’m not even sure I want to buy it when it comes to DVD/Blu-Ray because I have so many reservations about supporting it.
