Assuming Drizzt could live alone in the wild Underdark Zak should be able too. But would he be able to survive if he had took young Drizzt with himself?

I’ve been playing with an idea that Zak meets some followers of Eilistraee at some earlier point and joins because ‘oh gods finally. Sane people!’ and when Malice orders Drizzt sent to the Academy Zak just freaks and decided to book them both a ticket on the next caravan going to the surface because fuck no.
