For those who didn't know, I'm actually asexually straight. In other words, I like guys, I just can't be bothered (plus, the thought of having sex isn't that attractive). However, I expect it'll change at some point, my sexuality is pretty fluid.

Which, considering the amount of porn I write, is pretty weird.

I'm not voluntarily chaste as such though, just that after my last ex, the thought of sleeping with a man again is vaguely nauseating. Just means I am quite happy to drool over fictional characters.

I'll second the below comment of 'either gender is fine, but I'm not terribly interested in sex' though. Sex is generally a waste of time, but I still appreciate eye candy. Sexual ambiguity FTW! :D

It might be the other way around: Perhaps you write better porn the less real sex you have? Getting your fun /somwhere/.

I don't really think so, but the entire how-to-get-there, with dating and stuff definitely is! Plus, I'm really bad at flirting and all the other pre-mating rituals, like dancing and movies, and wish you could just walk up to someone and say, "Hey, you, you're pretty. Wanna sleep with me?" Sadly, this seems to be frowned upon. *ggg*

Oh, but it's perfectly normal! I'm not interested in having sex, either, but I like my porn. ;) Granted, I liked the sex when I was having it, but it's really too much of a hassle. I consider myself to be somewhere between bisexual and asexual... either gender is fine, but I'm not terribly interested in sex.
