It’s almost as if the exclusionist discoursers are small in number but supremely vocal. It’s almost as if the vast majority of the community accept our ace and aro brothers and sisters (and nb pals).
And this is just on tumblr, where discourse is the loudest, and not out in the actual world where organizations like GLAAD and The Trevor Project have been accepting ace identities for years.
So for all the ace and aro people out there who sometimes feels like everyone in the community is against them, that’s not the case. We’re with you. At least 23-to-1, we’re on your side.

for the last fucking time, trans women DID NOT “bully” LGBT groups into including them. we didn’t harass them, we didn’t make them feel unsafe so they’d cave. they recognized our issues as valid and decided we required resources.

i’m sorry, i’ve only ever seen that argument made by TWERFs trying to paint trans women as being violent invaders who LGBT spaces only accept out of fear.

for the last fucking time, asexuals DID NOT “bully” LGBT groups into including them. they didn’t harass them, they didn’t make them feel unsafe so they’d cave. they recognized ace issues as valid and decided they required resources.

anyway, acephobia is a rape apologist movement motivated solely by their desire to make sure the cause of corrective rape against aces is never addressed by society, so that the systemic assaults do not stop.

anyway, acephobia is a movement that thrives entirely off rape apologism, and it only exists to deny ace oppression so that it won’t be acknowledged as the cause of ace corrective rape…meaning systemic ace corrective rape will never be tackled by society effectively, and will therefore not end.
